The Firmware menu has the following three tabs, described below:

  • Upgrade,

  • Settings,

  • Log.

In this section the user can check and manually update the firmware version:

Firmware upgrade

Manual system update

 By clicking on the tab "Choose file" the user can upload the firmware update file (.bin extension).

Check server for updates

 By clicking on the tab "Server check" the EMS checks the Carlo Gavazzi server can to get the latest version of the firmware.

Once the firmware is loaded, the user needs to click on the "Upgrade" button to start the firmware upgrade procedure.

In this section the user can activate the automatic firmware upgrade:

Parameter

Description

Select server

It allows to select the server through which navigate to upgrade the firmware:

  • Carlo Gavazzi server (default version),

  • Custom server: it requires to type the URL address of the server.

Enable automatic upgrade

 If enabled, the user is required to type the local time to start the firmware upgrade.

Note: parameters followed by * are mandatory. Clicking you can either save () or reset () the configuration.

In this section the user can check the activities related to firmware upgrade:

Activity identification number.

Time (Europe/Rome)

 Information about upgrade activity with reference to Europe/Rome time zone.
User Name of the user.
Release Firmware released version installed.
Status

Status of the firmware update activity:

  • Upgraded,

  • Upgrade failed.

The tab allows the user to rearrange the visualization of all the items in the page by using the following function:

  • Items per page: it is placed on the left and allows to select the number of items that are visualized in the page (15, 25 or 50);

  • : the icon appears on the right of each parameter, acting as a filter that reorders the items.
